About

The Faculty Onboarding Training is two-part series of asynchronous courses designed to support faculty members as they prepare to teach their first course for National University (NU).

Course Descriptions:

  • OTLS50 National University Faculty Orientation: Introduces faculty to the University’s mission, culture, and organizational structure and provides a snapshot of our community of adult learners and the resources available to support them in achieving their educational goals.
  • Tier 1 World-Class Teaching: In this course, you will learn how NU is working to provide world-class learning experiences grounded in the science of learning, and how your role is critical to student success.

For Support:

  • If you have questions as you move through these courses, please reach out to the Online Learning and Instructional Support (OLIS) team at olis@nu.edu and they will respond within 24-48 hours during the business week.
  • For additional faculty support, drop-in Brightspace Q&A Sessions are available and upcoming sessions can be found on the Brightspace Training Calendar.
